The Czech girls have won their 4th Fed Cup in 5 years, in a thrilling finale in Strasbourg, indoors 3-2, with a live Doubles decider. The 1st game of the tie was a sensational battle between 2 of the young stars of the game, Karolina Pliskova and Kristina Mladenovic, who needed 30 games to split them in the deciding set, the longest in history, before Pliskova prevailed.
Recently crowned world number 1 Angelique Kerber heads the field in Hong Kong this week, with other highly credentialed players such as Venus Williams, Samantha Stosur, Johanna Konta and Caroline Wozniacki all sure to make it a special week.
